Original Package:

Images of Original Package

After picking the package of a socks brand (MILOS), I tore it apart and took its measurements to create its die-line.

Die-line

For the redesigning phase, I decided to keep the pixel theme Milos use for their brand, and started with a sketch for the main element of the package.

Sketch of character

After turning it into a pixel design, I added more elements to the package following the same theme, and I also added a locking flap to make the package stand on its own.

The Final Outcome

Reflection

The Final Outcome

The Final Package
Reflection

Creating this package gave back lessons worth a separate book, but the main lessons revolved around retrying and rethinking the target audience and market in order to find the best solutions for the package, and choosing the right materials to best suit the concept of the package. last but not least, to save effort and power by testing separate parts of the package alone instead of rebuilding it again each time to make sure that the solutions works well.

End of Midterm Assignment

The Final Outcome

Reflection

This project has been a roller coaster, after its total time decreased because the whole process needed to move faster which I think was a good experience for the future but a terrible one for the current project. using extreme colors and ornaments for a project has been a dream and I hope to be able to re live it to make the best out of it in better situations.
